Nancy Caire Miller

Nancy Caire Miller, TAPP Project Coordinator,  has been involved in advocacy for environmental protection and stormwater management in Leon County. She graduated from the University of North Carolina with a degree in Zoology, has a Master's in Biology from Northeast Louisiana University and a Master's in Urban and Regional Planning from Florida State University.

Since moving to Tallahassee in 1985, she has participated on numerous citizens’ advisory committees related to water resource protection and growth management. Nancy is an original member of the Economic and Environmental Consensus Committee, the group that produced the Blueprint 2000 and Beyond report, which generated the local penny sales tax currently funding greenway, stormwater management and transportation infrastructure improvements. Nancy works as an environmental consultant on projects such an TAPP. She currently sits on the Tallahassee- Leon County Planning Commission, the Blueprint 2000 Citizens' Advisory Committee, Leon County's Water Resources Citizens' Advisory Committee, the Big Bend Environmental Forum and the Board of Directors of the Apalachicola Riverkeeper.
